One of our chief passions at Freshly Found is to recycle papers into beautiful items.  This means that puzzle pieces fall into that ‘paper’ category.  As a result, fashioning Puzzle Pots has been so satisfying.  We create rounds of puzzle pieces, which are glued, stacked, and shaped to form beautiful containers.  The puzzle pots are painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, and finally sealed for added protection.

The result is a highly textured piece of paper pottery!  But remember – no water!  These vases are for dried arrangements only!  Use them to display paper flowers, grass or sticks.

Freshly Found is currently exhibiting these and a variety of other Freshly Found products at Woza Moya in Kloof.  Woza Moya is part of the Hillcrest Aids Trust – and is an amazing outlet of beautiful local art and crafts, which supports people and families affected by HIV aids.

We’ve used puzzle pieces as building blocks before, making light fittings, bowls, and pots.
