This is how… Heart Bunting Book Paper..
You will need:
- an old book to cut up,
- string to hang the bunting
- scissors
- a hole punch
- ink or paint to colour the hearts
Cut out the bunting. Cut a heart shape out of every 2nd bunting flag. (You can do this easily, by folding the bunting in half, and cutting the heart shape through both layers on the folded side, then opening it out.
Colour the cut out hearts by dying in ink, diluted with water or by painting them. Once they are dry, paste them onto the solid bunting flags.
Punch holes in the top of each bunting flag. Thread sting through, alternating cutout flags with coloured heart flags. ♥
